We thought we'd piss Chippa Wilson off and take him for a surf in onshore HB shorebreak. We were getting bored in Newport and Benji wanted to meet up with us, so why not get him frustrated too. Oh and the afternoon light was epic!

Gettin weird at the US Open of Surfing 2008

We don't spend much time in downtown huntington beach. but every year there's a good reason to make an exception. This would be the wonderful bikini-fest that is The US Open! There are fun surf heats to watch, half naked girls everywhere, and the free booze from surfline ties it all together nicely. Here are some shots from Friday and Saturday (we were too blacked to make it to sunday):
